The Wisconsin portion of the CP mainline in the Reeseville Marsh is under several feet of water, so CP is detouring trains on the BNSF, ICE and WSOR. Train 484 is shown here comming off the Fox Lake sub after a overnight trip on the WSOR from Madison. They have just made a crew change and are starting their final run to Bensenville. |

The first of three BNSF/CP test trains returns empty from the Power Plant in Pleasant Prairie, Wi. The train symbol while on BNSF was BKMCIP0-01 with a routing from the Powder River Basin to Cicero, then a complex routing through the Chicago Switching District got it to the CP for the last leg of it journey. These test trains may help take the haulage contract away from the UP. |

This unit coal train is lead by one of the new CP Olympic units. Two GE's were released to CP without the Canadian Pacific block lettering on the long hood. They were pressed into service for a few months before the CP shops applied the Olympic paint scheme. |
